Clinical Supervision Rooted in Relationship

Clinical Supervision Rooted in Relationship

Clinical Supervision in DevonClinical Supervision, for me, is rooted in relationship. It is not something I practise from a purely theoretical place. It is lived, embodied, and shaped by 19 years of clinical work, ongoing learning, and reflection. I come to supervision as a practitioner who understands the complexity of sitting with other people’s lives, and the responsibility that comes with supporting those who do that work every day.

My approach as a Clinical Supervisor is integrative, relational, and creative. I work with developmental and relational trauma, attachment, and transpersonal processes, both with couples and individuals, and I am open about the spiritual and alternative dimensions that can arise in therapeutic work. At the same time, I hold a strong ethical frame. Good supervision, for me, is rooted in clear contracting, honest feedback, and mutual respect for the supervisee’s modality, pace, and way of working. Creativity and spirituality are welcomed, never imposed.

I see supervision as a relational and developmental process. Safety matters, but not the kind that avoids challenge. I aim to create a supervisory relationship where you feel secure enough to be real, curious about your edges, and supported to think critically about your work. Who I am shapes how I supervise, just as who you are shapes how you practise. Supervision is not just about cases, it is about the therapist becoming more resourced, reflective, and ethically grounded over time.

If you are looking for supervision that is thoughtful, embodied, and relational, with space for both depth and challenge, I would be glad to work with you.

I charge £60 per hour; in person or online.
